The Thurifers

In the dark and sacred atmosphere of the monastery, two monks fall in love while creating the mysterious and intoxicating incense that would have perfumed the religious ceremonies of the community.

A Thurifer is the altar server in various Christian denominations who carries a ritual incense burner
— the Thurible.
